Returns and refunds
The Learning Cauldron’s Standard Return and Refunds policy applies only to items sent by post – it does not apply to digital material including downloads.


With regard to the sale of any digital materials, either:


1) The download cannot take place for 14 days from the date of purchase to allow for you to change your mind prior to downloading.
2) If you wish to download the product immediately, this will only be possible if you waive your right to cancel within 14 days.


In either of the above cases, digital content is non-refundable once the download has taken place.


Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations – which came into force on 13 June 2014 – if you buy online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 14 working days of receipt. This includes any delivery charge, but excludes any products listed as exceptions.


STANDARD RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY (not applicable to digital content)
This returns policy excludes any products listed as exceptions (e.g. customised products or CDs/DVDs/software which have been opened).
If you are not happy with one of our products received by post or by delivery service, you have 21 calendar days from the date you received it to return this item to us at The Learning Cauldron, Chance Inn Cottage, by Kinross, KY13 0LE.


Unless it is faulty, to be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it (seal not broken, if applicable). The item you are returning must be in the original packaging and have its original labels, and you must have a receipt or proof of purchase for the item.


Once we receive your returned item, we will notify you that we have received it. Once we have inspected the item, we will advise you regarding the status of your refund. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your PayPal account (or via the original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain number of days, depending on the policies of whichever payment system you used originally (e.g. PayPal).


Shipping costs in the event of a refund
Under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, if you buy online or by phone, your consumer rights entitle you to a full refund if you request one in writing within 14 working days of receipt. This refund includes the basic delivery charge for sending you the item in the first place.


If your product has not been purchased online or by phone, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item(s) by post or delivery service. In this case, shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
